Why do business owners have to pay taxes? Great question, well the government wants a slice of every pie registered. First we have to establish our business, ie: registered business name, state tax registration, etc. All of these documents cause us to have to pay taxes on our business income. Each entity has a percentage that one is expected to pay on earned income. Some reports state that if you earn over $600. in a calendar year, it must be reported and filed to IRS. Internal Revenue Services is big and they are getting quite a lot of income from business owners. It doesn't matter whether you are a Sole Proprietor or a Small Business with let's say 10 to 25 staff members, you are responsible to file and pay taxes. There are many questions about these taxes that are being charged to individuals and businesses. You hear all the time, how the rich get away with paying minimal taxes and we the hard working individuals pay so much more. It appears to be the same in business, those big companies get all the tax brakes and the little ones pay out of their ears. Well I think there should be something done about these unstable rules for the rich and famous, so to speak. What is your take on these tax laws, rules, etc. Do we deserve tax cuts for our business? Read this article and see what others are saying about these taxes.
